General Terms and Service Overview

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sigaram Fibernet, a dealer of Niss Broadband Pvt. Ltd., providing broadband internet and OTT services to both residential and commercial users.
By subscribing to our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. These Terms govern your use of Sigaram Fibernet’s internet connections, OTT applications, and related digital services.


2. Service Provision

  • Sigaram Fibernet shall provide high-speed fiber broadband and associated OTT access as per the selected plan.

  • Service availability depends on technical feasibility, network reach, and geographical limitations.

  • The company reserves the right to upgrade, modify, or suspend services for maintenance or policy compliance.

3. User Eligibility

  • Subscribers must be above 18 years of age and provide valid identification and address proof.

  • Corporate or institutional users must submit authorization letters and registration details.

4. Equipment and Installation

  • Sigaram Fibernet provides routers and modems either free or on a rental/ownership basis, depending on the plan.

  • Users must maintain the equipment in good condition and return it upon service termination if applicable.

  • Damage or loss of routers or accessories will attract applicable charges.

Internet Usage Policy

5. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

  • Each plan includes a Fair Usage Policy to ensure equitable network access for all users.

  • Once the data limit (if applicable) is reached, speed may be reduced as per plan conditions.

  • Unlimited plans are subject to reasonable usage monitoring to prevent network abuse.

6. Prohibited Activities

Subscribers shall not use Sigaram Fibernet for:
– Any unlawful, offensive, or fraudulent activity.
– Distribution of malware, spam, or pirated content.
Hosting unauthorized servers or websites without written consent.
Sharing login credentials or reselling bandwidth.

Violation of these policies may result in temporary suspension or permanent disconnection without refund.


7. Data Security and Privacy

  • Sigaram Fibernet ensures privacy protection as per the Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable Indian data laws.

  • User data is used only for service delivery, billing, and communication.

  • Limited information may be shared with authorities upon lawful request.

8. Network Maintenance and Downtime

  • Regular maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary interruptions.

  • Sigaram Fibernet will make every effort to notify customers in advance and restore services promptly.

  • The company is not liable for losses arising from such outages.

OTT Applications and Digital Content Usage

9. OTT Service Access

  • Some broadband plans include access to OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLIV, etc.

  • Access is valid only for active subscribers and subject to the respective OTT provider’s terms.

10. Account and Content Usage

  • OTT credentials are non-transferable and for personal use only.

  • Recording, streaming, or redistributing OTT content publicly is strictly prohibited.

  • Sigaram Fibernet does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party OTT platforms.

11. Subscription Validity and Renewal

  • Free or bundled OTT access remains active only while your broadband plan is valid.

  • Upon plan expiry or cancellation, OTT benefits automatically cease unless renewed directly with the OTT provider.

12. Content Responsibility

  • Sigaram Fibernet is not responsible for the nature of content on OTT apps.

  • Users are encouraged to follow content rating guidelines and enable parental controls for underage viewers.

Payment, Liability, and Termination

13. Billing and Payment

  • All payments must be made in advance as per the chosen plan.

  • Non-payment beyond the due date may result in service suspension or disconnection.

  • Installation fees, router deposits, and taxes are non-refundable once the service is activated.

14. Refunds and Cancellations

  • No refunds will be issued for partial usage, temporary disconnections, or voluntary cancellations.

  • In case of a verified service failure on the company’s part, a prorated credit may be offered.

15. Limitation of Liability

Sigaram Fibernet is not liable for:
– Loss of data due to user error or device malfunction.
– Service interruptions beyond control (e.g., power cuts, natural calamities, fiber cuts).
– Any indirect or consequential damages arising from service use.


16. Amendments to Terms

  • Sigaram Fibernet reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions with prior notice via email or website.

  • Continued usage of the service implies acceptance of revised terms.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thiruvarur District Court, Tamil Nadu.
